The School has over 150 non-teaching staff in a variety of positions that help to keep the School running. These include Porters, Secretaries, Accountants, Maintenance Staff, Communication Officers, IT, Science & Art Technicians, Nurses, Gardeners, Painters, HR Advisers, to name a few. Boarding House Matron

We are seeking to recruit a boarding house matron to work closely with the housemaster and his pastoral team in Hough House, a boarding house for 46 boys aged 11-18. The matron is a ‘parental’ figure in the house, generous with their time and responsive to the needs of the pupils. The role would suit someone who is reliable, friendly, tactful and diplomatic with a good sense of humour and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
